Frescobol wooden paddles
From now and then, when we get a bit of free time to be creative, we handcraft these stunning Frescobol paddles to have fun with at the beach and other outdoor spaces. Plus, it is a great way to warm up before catching the waves, don’t you think? 😜
These Beach bats are made with solid Paulownia natural wood from our own crops. The production is 100% environmentally friendly, and the result product has a negative CO2 footprint. This is because there are always trees growing in our fields, thus gradually fixing vast amounts of atmospheric carbon. The trees we eventually cut down… Boom! They regenerate and spring back up again. 🌱🌳
What about the electricity we use? We only work with energy providers that supply 100% renewable electricity, which is critical to the sustainability of the planet.
Our Beach bats are crafted with the remnants of wood from other projects. We strive to make maximum use of our timber by reusing and recycling the material. Finally, the final fragments are personally recycled as wood chips in order to improve the structure of the soil in our little Paulownia forests, or sent to a recycling company to be made into pellets. ♻️
Our handmade Frescobol wooden paddles are both resistant and ultra-light (they only weight 250 grams!). As you can see in the picture above, the ergonomic cork handle lends a better grip on the bat without damaging the palm of our hands. It has a soft and comfortable feel. Perfect to play in the water since its natural beeswax finish protects them from the water and sunlight. Paulownia wood itself is quite water-resistant, so it won’t suffer any damage or deformation because of it. The only thing you need to keep them in perfect condition is natural oil or wax. You can apply it from time to time so it can prevent any deterioration in the wood. 😎
The end result is a simple and unique handmade product. Entirely natural, fun, and long-lasting! 👍
Hope you like our new paddles 😄
